FAQs

Why PAC, and not someone else?

Many consultants view clients as deals to be won and contracts as finish lines. PAC believes just the opposite. Working side by side with your company, we’ll be a true partner from beginning to end—providing personalized services that are both transparent and transformative. We love making clients happy and establishing long-term trust-based relationships.

What region do you operate in?

PAC operates out of the region wherever the client wants to expand, but we have most of our clients where we have our headquarters in Hong Kong. We are location-flexible, and this is something our clients really love about working with us.

I am only interested in receiving some services. Do I need to buy the whole package of services listed?

Not at all! Before we engage with our clients, we clearly define the needs, build the scope, and clearly state the deliverables. Not every client is the same, and we match our work to our client’s needs.

Are you open to other industries besides F&B?

Absolutely! PAC is committed to guiding growth for companies across industries and around the world. While we specialize in the F&B industry, our services are transferable to many different sectors. We will evaluate on a case-by-case basis the value we can provide and decide whether we can meet the client’s needs.

Are your services limited to those outlined on the website?

Not at all. We’re happy to help with additional services as long as they align with our areas of expertise. If your requested services can’t be fulfilled successfully, we’ll let you know upfront—so it can’t hurt to ask.

How can I be sure of receiving project deliverables on time?

We’ll agree upon deadlines during the contract negotiation phase—and always stick to our word. As a committed partner, PAC will never take on new clients if that means compromising an existing deadline.

Will you charge an hourly rate or a flat fee?

We work with both models, and prices will be set in accordance with the specific deliverables outlined in your contract and your preference.

How will I know that my company information is handled confidentially?

During the onboarding process, clients sign a mutual NDA to protect intellectual property.

Do I need to be in the new market upfront?

Not unless you want to be! PAC will be your eyes and ears on the ground, regularly reporting with local insights to guide long-term growth.

What’s the typical process for launching a new concept?

There are four key steps in new concept development (1) market research to define the product-market fit and calculate the market opportunity (2) competitive intelligence to define the right value proposition for the market (3) audience segmentation to define the right buyer profile (4) go-to-market route to define the right direct or indirect sales and marketing channels. Overwhelmed? Don’t be—PAC can guide you through the entire process.

Can you also help with relocation?

Absolutely! PAC can help you scout the local market and identify a suitable F&B space, considering the licensing, risks, service flow, and budget.

Do you ever work with subcontractors?

When warranted, we’re happy to loop in local subcontractors (for instance, during the licensing process). However, no confidential information is ever shared with these parties, and if it happens, we sign an NDA.

How will PAC ensure my wine & beverage program remains consistent and up to date?

PAC researches the market trends every quarter, and through working with our clients, we also see and feel the changes happening in the market and customers. Suppose we are on a retainer or brought in at specific timeframes. In that case, we will share our knowledge consistently with you, and we will update the wine & beverage lists (up to purchasing) according to our agreed contractual terms & conditions.

How long is an average partnership with PAC?

It depends. Sometimes we would clearly define a project, and sometimes, we would work with a retainer fee. Clients generally work with PAC until the F&B venue is fully operational. Some clients prefer to continue relying on PAC to receive timely audits, insights, and updates without limiting how long this process can go on.
